THEY ARE THE HABITATS MADE BY THE PEOPLE

A photographic exhibition by Endinalo Moni exploring the people, landscapes, and everyday realities of Khayelitsha.
Through intimate photographs, Moni challenges the way informal settlements are seen and invites us to recognise them as homes, communities, and habitats shaped by resilience, dignity, creativity, and ubuntu.
The exhibition also features a selection of photographs by young women aged 14–18, created during a photography workshop facilitated by the artist. Together, these works bring different generations into conversation through stories of home, identity, belonging, community.
